Surgical Critical Care Fellowship
Led by some of the nation’s best educators in health science, our programs are at the forefront of translational medicine and healthcare innovation.
This one-year Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai, which is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, (ACGME) is designed to train leaders in academic surgical critical care and trauma through an intensive clinical and educational experience. Two surgical fellows are accepted annually.
Fellows are immersed in the management of critically ill and injured general surgery, trauma, vascular, cardiothoracic, transplant and neurosurgical patients.
Upon completion of the fellowship, the graduate is eligible to sit for the examination for the American Board of Surgery Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgical Critical Care.
Training & Curriculum
Fellows gain experience in all facets of Surgical Critical Care, as well as specialized training in current therapeutic modalities.
