Anesthesiology Residency
Led by some of the nation’s best educators in health science, our programs are at the forefront of translational medicine and healthcare innovation.
The Cedars-Sinai Anesthesiology Residency program offers a four-year program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Since initial accreditation in 2007, Dr. Roya Yumul has been the residency program director. The program is approved for 17 residents per year.
Beyond the strong clinical experience, our educational program is structured to respond to the changing needs of its residents and the profession. Additionally, residents' participation in hospital-based, national and international activities fosters the management skills and creativity we value in our residents. Chief Residents Welcome Letter.
While the strength of the program is the volume and diversity of cases at Cedars-Sinai, we have a family-like atmosphere within the department. There is an open-door policy for any issues or concerns that arise during the program to address your needs and work with you to overcome any obstacles. We aim to support you as much as possible during your training experience here.
