Scholarships and Pathways in Neuroscience
Cedars-Sinai’s Scholarships and Pathways in Neuroscience Program aims to advance the education and careers of postsecondary students from a range of underrepresented communities. The program provides funds, mentoring and hands-on learning in a world-class medical center.
Scholarship and Research Opportunities
Scholarships and Pathways in Neuroscience was created to enhance diversity in the neurosciences. Awardees work with leading scientists in state-of-the-art facilities under the mentorship of renowned neurosurgeon Keith Black, MD, and can explore a wide range of interests while networking with clinicians, scientists and peers and conducting their own research in a Cedars-Sinai lab.
Our largest donor supports racially underrepresented students, especially from Historically Black Universities and Colleges.
Sony Music Group
Sony Music Group Scholars Program provides pathways for underrepresented students in medicine and science to increase the pipeline of Black physicians and scientists. Open to students of color from underrepresented communities, including but not exclusively, students from Historically Black Universities and Colleges (HBCU). Sony Music Group’s support is part of the company’s growing commitment to social justice and anti-racist initiatives.
The program is for third- or fourth-year undergraduates, graduate students and those in or awaiting acceptance to medical school or a residency program.
