Bowen Gao, MBA, graduated from Shenyang Normal University of China with a degree in biology and a master’s degree in business administration. She is a research associate in the Cui Laboratory and has expertise in surgical techniques for mouse studies.
Bingchen Han, PhD, earned his doctorate in cancer biology from the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in Beijing, China. His research focuses on breast cancer lung metastasis, and he has developed novel FOXC1 transgenic mouse models.
Ying Qu, MD, PhD, attended medical school at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China. She finished her doctorate at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Qu was trained at the Providence John Wayne Cancer Institute in Santa Monica on breast cancer translational research. She studies the role of transcription factors in regulating breast cancer malignancy using novel ex vivo human breast models.
Valentina Estevez graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in biology. She is a research associate in the Cui Laboratory within the Women’s Cancer Program.
Stacey Chung, PhD, earned her doctorate in nutrition with a focus on molecular and cellular biology from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She is currently a postdoctoral scientist in the Cui Laboratory, focusing on the mechanism of how DNA-damaging agents can be used as a therapeutic to treat triple-negative breast cancer.
