Rowann Mostafa received a bachelor of science in molecular cell biology and physiology from California State University, Long Beach. Mostafa works on the identification of citrullinated cardiac-specific autoantigens that appear to be involved in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis and can be detected in the sera of rheumatoid arthritis patients.
Aneta Stachowich, PhD
Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow
Aneta Stachowich, PhD, is a visiting postdoctoral fellow from Poland investigating the role of protein arginine deiminases in the mechanisms underlying macrophage M1–M2 polarization. Her second project aims to investigate the cross-talk between fibroblasts and macrophages during tissue remodeling and fibrosis.
