Davy earned his PhD in artificial intelligence from the Université Sorbonne Paris Nord. He applies his background in logic and science computing to design advanced natural language processing pipelines, integrating supervised and semi-supervised machine learning for health applications.
Ivan Flores received his BS degree in computer science at the University of Texas in 2008. His current interests include natural language processing, machine learning and data mining for extracting health-related information in social media and forums.
Yunwen received her PhD in communication from the University of Southern California. She holds an MS degree from Purdue University and underwent undergraduate training at the University of Macau and Nanyang Technological University. Her research focuses on health communication, social/mobile media, human-computer interaction and computational social science, with an emphasis on social justice and equity.
Dongfang received his PhD in information science from the University of Arizona, specializing in information extraction and medical concept normalization. He has prior experience as a postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard Medical School and as a research scientist in an industry research organization. His research focuses on natural language processing and its practical applications in health informatics.
Kashif earned his PhD in computer science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China in 2021, specializing in the field of natural language processing. His research is primarily centered on the development of innovative NLP algorithms, especially large language modeling, with a keen focus on semantic parsing and the exploration of unsupervised methods in computing methodologies. Currently, his research focuses on applying sophisticated NLP pipelines to innovate and improve health-related applications.
