Sandrine Fuchs received her master’s in biology from Pierre and Marie Curie University, Paris, France, and her medical analysis certification from Pitie-Salpetriere Hospital, Paris, France. Fuchs is focusing on immune-based therapy for AD and retinal pathology specific to AD.

Altan Rentsendorj received her master’s in microbiology and doctorate in molecular biology at Lorand Eotvos University, Budapest, and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Szeged. Rentsendorj is focusing on osteopontin immune-modulation following GA immunization in murine AD models and synaptic loss in retinas and brains of AD patients.

Bhakta P. Gaire received his MSc in medicine at Kyung Hee University and his doctorate in pharmacy at the College of Pharmacy, Gachon University, South Korea. Dr. Gaire is a project scientist in the Koronyo-Hamaoui Lab focusing on Chlamydia pneumonia infection in the retina and brain of Alzheimer’s disease patients.

Yosef Koronyo received his bachelor’s in natural sciences and his master’s in molecular microbiology and biotechnology at Tel Aviv University, Israel. He has developed exclusive noninvasive imaging approaches for ex vivo and in vivo monitoring of pathological processes and immune cell infiltration in the retina of rodent models of neurodegenerative disorders.

Jean-Philippe Vit received his MSc and PhD consecutively from René Descartes University (Paris V), Paris, France. Dr. Vit is a project scientist in the Koronyo-Hamaoui Lab focusing on visual and cognitive changes in mouse models of AD following ETP69 treatment.

Saba Shahin received her MSc and PhD from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. Dr. Shahin is a project scientist in the Koronyo-Hamaoui Lab studying the microglial activation in relation to cell-specific vulnerability in the Alzheimer’s disease retina.

Edward Robinson earned his BSc in biology from Tufts University, Medford, Massachusetts. He is attending Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, for his MD. Mr. Robinson is a Ray Charles Foundation Scholar in neurosurgery and focusing on diagnosing Alzheimer’s disease via retinal imaging and epigenetic-based therapy in the Koronyo-Hamaoui Lab.
