Yang (Kristina) Song achieved her MD from Nanchang University, China in 2011, MS in drug delivery from Aston University, United Kingdom in 2013 and completed her PhD in pharmaceutical sciences from Mercer University in 2018. She joined Cedars-Sinai as research associate II in September 2017 and moved to project scientist in April 2020. She is currently the manager of Mitochondria, Metabolism and Cardiac Phenotyping Core and the lab manager for the Parker Lab group. Her research focuses on mitochondria function in cardiovascular remodeling, particularly after myocardial infarction and during aortic aneurysm progression.
Nethika completed her PhD in biomedical engineering at the University of Southern California. She has been a postdoctoral scientist at the Smidt Heart Institute at Cedars-Sinai since October 2019. Her current focus is on engineering human-relevant, biomimetic diseased blood vessel models.
Kruttika Dabke completed her master's degree in pharmacology from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Southern California in 2016. She has been a PhD candidate in the Biomedical Sciences Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center since August 2018. Her main focus is understanding proteomic changes that drive high grade serous ovarian cancer progression in conjunction with chemotherapy exposure.
Shannon is currently a student in the Biomedical Science and Translational Medicine PhD program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She is completing her thesis research under the mentorship of Dr. Sarah Parker. Her goal is to understand aortic aneurysm progression in Marfan syndrome.
