Posadas Lab
This translational research laboratory is studying the biology of cancer metastasis, with emphasis on the model of prostate cancer. The ultimate goal of all our laboratory research projects is to develop new therapies to prevent metastatic progression of and to cure advanced prostate cancers.
The Posasdas Laboratory is affiliated with the Urologic Oncology Research Program at Cedars-Sinai Cancer and the Department of Medicine, Hematology Oncology Division.
Personal Statement
Edwin Posadas, MD, is medical director of the Urologic Oncology Program of the CS Cancer and the clinical co-chief of the Division of Hematology/Oncology of the Department of Medicine at Cedars-Sinai. He holds academic rank of associate professor in the Department of Medicine at Cedars-Sinai and the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles.
