Neurosurgery Department Clerkships
The Department of Neurosurgery at Cedars-Sinai offers a clinical elective that is open to fourth-year students from Liaison Committee on Medical Education-approved medical schools in the United States.
The clinical clerkships allow students considering a residency in neurological surgery to assist faculty and current residents in all aspects of the neurosurgery service through our three neurological surgery services: tumors, vascular and pediatrics, and spine. The clerkship is highly recommended for students interested in applying to the Cedars-Sinai Department of Neurosurgery Residency Program.
We accept student applications in April and begin scheduling students in July of every year. The rotations are four weeks in length.
Cedars-Sinai participates in the Visiting Student Application Service. For more information about this service, please visit our Medical Student Affairs Web page.
