Research Compliance & Post-Approval Monitoring
The Post-Approval Monitoring (PAM) team monitors research projects to confirm that the research is being conducted as approved, thus ensuring compliance with the federal and state regulations, Cedars-Sinai institutional rules and guidelines that govern research. Other goals of the PAM program are to ensure the wellbeing of human subjects in research, to provide assistance to PIs in preparing for audits, and to serve as a compliance resource to the research community.
The team also reviews verbal and written reports by various sources (including complaints from research participants, inquiries or reports from other institutional entities, etc.).
