Castellon-Lopez Lab

The Castellon-Lopez Lab at the Cancer Research Center for Health Equity aims to address health disparities by promoting healthy lifestyle change, culturally relevant education, and community-partnered work that empowers traditionally marginalized communities to make informed decisions about their health. The lab is at the forefront of Latino health research, focusing on building community partnerships to promote health equity and improve health outcomes in under-resourced settings through innovative and community-informed approaches.

Our work includes evaluating the acceptability and feasibility of digital interventions aimed at improving chronic disease outcomes for conditions that disproportionately impact minoritized groups, such as diabetes.
