Lab Members
Peng Chang, MD, received his master's degree and doctor degree from Lanzhou University in China. He was a chief physician in the Department of Cardiology at Lanzhou University Second Hospital in China. Chang's clinical expertise is cardiovascular intervention ,including ablation in arrhythmias and PCI . He is currently a visiting postdoctoral scientist in the Fan Laboratory at the Cedars-Sinai Biomedical Imaging Research Institute. His research is specifically focused on new interventional therapy and medication in cardiovascular diseases.
Junzhou Chen received his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is now a doctoral student in Bioengineering at UCLA with a subfield of biomedical imaging and signal processing. At Dr. Fan’s lab, his research focuses on the development of MR techniques for applications in MR-guided radiation therapy.
Yu Guo, MD, received her master's degree from Nankai University and medical degree from Tianjin Medical University in China. She was an associate chief physician in the Department of Radiology at Tianjin First Center Hospital in Tianjin, China. Guo's clinical expertise includes head and neck MRI. She is currently a visiting postdoctoral scientist in the Fan Laboratory at the Cedars-Sinai Biomedical Imaging Research Institute. Her research is specifically focused on MRI technical applications in neurovascular disease and cancers.
Zhehao Hu received his bachelor's degree in engineering from the College of Optical Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University in China, with specialization in biomedical optics and medical imaging. He is a doctoral student at UCLA majoring in bioengineering with the subfield of biomedical imaging and signal processing. Hu is a member of the Fan Laboratory with a research interest in developing clinical applications of MRI in the early diagnosis of neurovascular disease.
Xiaoli Sun, M.D., received her doctor's degree from Shandong Medical College, Shandong University in China. She was an associate chief physician and associate professor in the Department of Radiology at Beijing Shijitan Hospital, Capital Medical University, China. Sun's clinical expertise includes chest and abdomen imaging diagnosis. She is currently a visiting postdoctoral scientist in the Fan Laboratory at the Cedars-Sinai Biomedical Imaging Research Institute. Her research is specifically focused on MRI technical applications in abdomen disease and cancers.
Jiayu Xiao, MD, graduated from Capital Medical University in China with a master’s degree in radiology and a doctorate in clinical medicine. Xiao works as a postdoctoral scientist in the Fan Laboratory with research interests in neurovascular imaging and abdominal MRI segmentation.
