Rosser Lab
The Rosser Lab is one of the laboratories within our bladder cancer working group at Cedars-Sinai, which brings together nationally recognized experts in clinical medicine, translational medicine, molecular biology and cellular biology. Our goal is to unravel the mysteries behind bladder tumorigenesis and identify effective maneuvers to prevent, diagnose and treat bladder cancer.
Personal Statement
I am an accomplished physician-scientist with 20 years of experience as a practicing urologic oncologist. I received my medical training from Rutgers University, completed my urology residency at Wake Forest University, and pursued further specialization in urologic oncology at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. My translational research laboratory delves into molecular diagnostics and experimental therapeutics for genitourinary tumors with a focus on bladder cancers (BCa)."
Charles Joel Rosser, MD, MBA, FACS
Breakthrough Research
My lab has identified and validated a urine-based BCa-associated diagnostic signature, leading to the development of Oncuria™, a liquid biopsy to detect and manage BCa.
